Unlimited is a UK arts commissioning body that supports, funds and promotes new work by disabled artists. Its mission is to commission extraordinary work from disabled artists that will change and challenge the world.

About our Unlimited programme

Our ambitious, long-term disability arts programme – which we have run in partnership with Unlimited since 2008 – supports UK-international collaboration across all artforms. Its aim is to embed art made by disabled artists within the UK and international cultural sectors and to increase access for disabled practitioners, professionals and audiences.

The programme includes:

Unlimited International Open Awards

Our grants support the commissioning of new collaborative artworks by UK and international artists, across artforms.

An international legacy of change

By fostering new art and new connections, our Unlimited programme has been the catalyst for many of our other disability arts initiatives around the world, exploring artistic innovation and creating meaningful change.

Between 2012-20, we partnered with over 350 arts and disability projects in 54 countries, generating lasting legacies, with new inclusive performing arts companies established for the first time in Armenia, Bangladesh and Indonesia.
