Art Exchange: Moving Image is a cross-cultural curatorial professional development and exhibition programme for early to mid-career visual arts curators from Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
Taking place from 2023-25, the programme supports curators selected from open calls to work with and respond to moving image works from the British Council Collection.
The programme is managed by LUX, the UK agency for the support and promotion of artists working with the moving image on behalf of the British Council. The Sub-Saharan Africa programme is delivered in partnership with Guest Artists Space Foundation, Nigeria, and the South Asia programme with Art South Asia Project (ASAP).

Our World Connected

Can art and architecture be a tool for repair and what happens when exhibitions themselves move across borders?

Where Spirit Meets the Bone
'Where Spirit Meets the Bone' is the first part of a project curated by Kehkasha Sabah and supported by us – an exhibition of multi-sensory installations that explore the phenomenology of bodies and their positionalities within social, emotional and cultural fractures.
