About our arts work in East Asia

East Asia is the largest and most culturally diverse region in which we operate, encompassing a wide range of cultures and creative landscapes.

Our work cultivates stronger relationships between the UK and East Asia through programmes that support the arts, promote cultural exchange, and drive the creative economy. Our programmes highlight how the arts can respond to global challenges such as climate change, equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and innovation.

Our presence in East Asia spans China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand.
