Music

We present the best of UK music to the world, offering opportunities for meaningful cultural exchange between UK and global music industries.

Our work in Music

We connect organisations, producers and institutions in the UK and internationally to create opportunities for meaningful cultural connections, collaboration, and professional exchange through music.

We work with UK partners to bring international artists and industry professionals to UK music festivals and events to experience new music, connect with their peers, build long-term connections and develop exciting new work.

Through a programme of residencies, collaborative projects and live events, we work with our colleagues overseas to respond to the local context and the interests of the music sector in the UK, focusing on modern music, while exploring how music heritage continues to play a vital role in contemporary life.

Through Selector, our weekly radio show, we bring the emerging sounds of the UK music scene to listeners all around the world.

The UK has a thriving, world-renowned music sector of great richness, breadth, diversity and innovation that draws on numerous cultural influences. Our work aims to challenge perceptions about music across cultures, acting as a catalyst for exchange, dialogue and cultural understanding.
