Biennials Connect

Across the world, visual arts festivals are where artists, curators and audiences come to connect and be inspired by the best in global visual arts practice. Our Biennials Connect programmes supports international collaboration at visual arts festivals. We bring early and mid-career international curators together at visual arts festivals to support curatorial practice, professional development and collaboration. We support visual arts festivals to programme international artists in cross-cultural exchange projects.

Our Biennials Connect Delegations programme focuses on in-person delegations at one or two international biennials each year. In recent years we have hosted international delegations at the Venice Biennale, Liverpool Biennial, Glasgow International Festival of Contemporary Art, Lagos Biennial and India Art Fair.
