Creative HubKit

Our toolkit provides tips and advice on how to set up and run a creative hub.

A woman and a man sit at a table in a creative hub. They are chatting and the walls of the room are covered in brightly coloured sticky notes.

The Creative HubKit is a free toolkit for people looking to set up a hub. It includes best practice examples and tried and tested approaches from some of the most successful hubs in the UK and Europe.

The toolkit was created by Creative Edinburgh and Creative Dundee, and has been designed to help you set up your own hub, diversify your existing hub or develop your understanding of the hub movement.

The Creative HubKit gives you the tools you'll need to map out the design and purpose of your own hub while understanding the invaluable nature that your community plays in its success.

Made by hubs for emerging hubs, the Creative HubKit includes case studies from Watershed, CodeBase, Baltic Creative, FuseBox, Hackney WickED, Impact Hub Birmingham, Cardiff Start and Residence, with European examples from Factoria Cultural and FabLab Lisboa.
