We work in partnership with UK festivals and event producers to host international delegates at UK showcases, including the renowned Great Escape festival in Brighton.
The Great Escape is known for its commitment to showcasing the up-and-coming talent from all over the world. Our delegate programme gives international festival directors, promoters, producers and programmers the opportunity to make connections with their UK counterparts and experience a wide range of innovative music from the UK.
In May 2024, we invited 30 delegates from all over the world to join us in Brighton to soak up the sounds of the UK music scene. We also hosted acts including Bel Cobain, Mellt, Venus Grrrls and the world's first live performance from TIBASKO on the Selector Radio stage, chosen and compered by Selector's weekly presenter, Sian Eleri.
If you didn't make it to the festival, or you'd just like to relive it all over again, you can catch up on our highlights from the weekend below.
We'll be sharing news of our plans for The Great Escape 2025 soon.
TIBASKO
Watch Hertfordshire electronic duo TIBASKO debut their live hardware set.
Mellt
'Dim Dwywaith is a fabulous record, drawing together college-rock stylings with crisp hooks and ringing guitar leads.' – NME
Chant-like vocals, shrieking guitar and punching drumbeats, Mellt are a four piece band originally from Aberystwyth in Wales.
Venus Grrrls
'This is what I’m talking about... being bold in your music.' – Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1)
Born from Riot Grrrl, VENUS GRRRLS are an alternative rock band from Leeds that merge twinkling synth motifs and raspy guitar lines.
