Music has been at the leading edge of artists working with new technologies – and nowhere more than in electronic music, club culture, sound art, immersive and audio-visual arts. Experimental approaches within music and audio-visual arts have created exciting collaborative opportunities and been attractive for curious and adventurous audiences.

AVA (London)
AVA is an audio-visual arts festival and conference that celebrates, amplifies and develops electronic music, visual art and immersive technology. Since 2015, AVA has hosted over 100 events and festivals, streamed to over 25 million people worldwide and nurtured hundreds of artists through conferences. It's now London’s leading electronic music conference.
Abandon Normal Devices (Barnsley)
Abandon Normal Devices (AND) is a radical arts organisation situated in the north of England, working globally. They commission and incubate new art, cinema and sound – often through collaborations with emerging technology and science – and curate experiences.
Factory International at Aviva Studios (Manchester)
Factory International is a creative company and charity that develops cultural opportunities and extraordinary artistic experiences, driven by innovation and focused on a sustainable future. Factory International is based at Aviva Studios – a super flexible space for creativity, with the capacity to show large scale work across all art forms. They support artists at all stages of their creative lives to do things they have not yet had the chance to do.
Sonica (Glasgow)
Sonica is Scotland’s leading 11-day biennial festival of audiovisual art and experimental music, produced by Cryptic. For over a decade, Sonica has presented pioneering work at the intersection of sound, image and architecture – transforming venues across Glasgow into immersive environments that challenge and inspire audiences.
